Fire Prevention Week
Fire Prevention week is a week in October dedicated to the promotion of fire safety. Fire Prevention Week was initially created to commemorate the Great Chicago Fire in 1871 that killed over 250 people and left 100000+ homeless. This fire changed the way firefighters and the public thought about fire safety and fire prevention. Each Fire Prevention Week has a theme that helps to remember a simple safety tip to prevent fires. The upcoming Fire Prevention Weeks followed by the Fire Prevention Day in order are as follows.
